3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos Personales (LOPDP) of Ecuador, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

3.1 Consent (Art. 7 LOPDP)

When you submit our contact form, you provide explicit consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. You indicate this consent by checking the privacy checkbox before submitting the form. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@stable-income-lab.com.

3.2 Legitimate interests (Art. 8 LOPDP)

We process certain technical and operational data on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure, functional, and performant website. This includes server logs, security monitoring, and basic analytics necessary for website operation.

3.3 Legal obligation

In some circumstances, we may be required to process personal data to comply with a legal obligation under Ecuadorian law, including obligations to cooperate with competent authorities when legally required.

4. Purposes of Processing

We process the personal data we collect for the following specific purposes:

  • Responding to inquiries: When you contact us through our form, we use your name, email address, phone number, and message content to prepare and send a response to your inquiry about our educational programs.

After this period, personal data from contact inquiries is deleted unless there is an ongoing legal or contractual reason to retain it.

Technical server logs are retained for a maximum of ninety (90) days for security and operational purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

Cookie consent records are retained for the duration of the consent period (twelve months) to document your preferences.

If you request deletion of your data before the end of these retention periods, we will comply within thirty (30) days of receiving your request, unless retention is required by applicable law.

6. Data Sharing and Transfers

6.1 Service providers

We may disclose personal data to competent authorities or courts when required to do so by applicable Ecuadorian law, judicial order, or other legal process. In such cases, we will disclose only the minimum data necessary to fulfill the legal requirement.

6.3 International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside Ecuador. Where such transfers occur, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place as required by the LOPDP, including contractual clauses that provide equivalent protection to that afforded under Ecuadorian law.
